I used to wear T.M Lewin's Super Slim Fit shirts, the box standard London office uniform: white shirts with cutaway collars and double cuffs. Sadly, they discontinued them. I own 65 pairs of Allen Edmonds mostly in the Dress Shoe styles. Clearly, Allen Edmonds is my favorite shoe company and because of that, I am also an AE Collector. Of the 65 pairs, 10 are Factory Seconds and they are wonderful. Each of the 10 have very minor blemishes. In fact most of the Factory Seconds' blemishes have such very minor blemishes that they are generally not noticeable. In addition, the Factory Seconds Team at AE are great and very helpful. So don't be afraid of purchasing any of the Allen Edmonds products. Cheers to all!

I loaded and pulled the paddle wheels( those were gone PTL) I loaded & unloaded the Canbar Mixers 6. of them. I made the "New car" Smell AKA Aroma. I even did the "Roller Jack "and 24' buffer I did many of the jobs shown there. We concentrated on automotive leather. The Grand Haven Tannery closed in 1986 three years after I left. EOLC is now Lear.

I love the aluminium, however they weight like 5kg...Imagine going on a flight (ie. VietJet) where cabin bag is 7kg max limit. You're screwed. Polycarbonate it is, makes it super beneficial if you have the lifetime warrenty, so I think Rimowa or AWAY is the best here. However, like you rightly said - with Rimowa you are getting that bit extra (repair accessibility and also finishing of product). I don't care so much for the name, but Rimowa is a name for a reason I can get behind.
